Employees Registration and Information System

A large number of employees and servants and floating laboures, chowkidars, plumbers, electricians and other casual laboures come to Islamabad in search of employment. Crime committed by this class of population in Islamabad constitutes a big problem.

Some of them are of dubious, character and have previous convictions. The employers in many cases have no idea about the man’s character. They employ them at times without anybody’s recommendation and knowing nothing about them. To find out such bad elements it is necessary to start verification of character and antecedents of domestic servants, private employees and the chowkidars employed. It would help the Islamabad police greatly if previous convicts, suspects and other shady characters among such private employees are spotted. Recently some domestic servants have been found responsible for even heinous crimes like murders. There are instances where complete strangers were accepted as domestic/private servants, chowkidars, plumbers, electricians and casual workers employed by employers. and they have decamped soon after, with valuables. The employers could not even produce their photographs and addresses. All residents and employers should, therefore, be alerted to use the services of only verified people.

For convenience of the employers and citizens of Islamabad, Islamabad Police & Save The Nation launched Servants/Employees Registration and Verification Information System (SERVIS) at their One Window Facilitation Centre.

Safe and Secure Transport Information System

Save The Nation Pakistan & Islamabad Police launched Safe & Secure Transport Information System (SSTIS) at One Window Facilitation Center.

Through this system police maintains database of cabs plying in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The SSTIS include the particulars of the owners of the cabs and the registration numbers of vehicles. A 3-digit special number, prescribed on a sticker, is issued to the vehicle after its data is entered in the database. The special number placed on the vehicle to help passengers trace the vehicle in case of complaints.

Sometimes that citizens hire a cab, forget their precious items or valuables in it and can’t note the registration number. Maintenance of database and 3-digit number help such people in tracing valuables. The system also assist cab drivers in remaining safe from criminal elements by informing the Rescue 15 police before leaving a particular destination

Save The Nation also conducting awareness campaigns, to motivate the Taxi Drivers to get their names and vehicle numbers entered in the database.
